The Sony FX6 Recoil Rig with Dual Trigger Grips is a shoulder rig designed specifically for the Sony FX6 camera. This is a Next Generation Recoil rig designed for optimal balance and comfort when shoulder mounted or on a tripod. With lenses and cameras being similar weights, the balance point is where the lens meets the camera body. In a shoulder mount rig, the balance point needs to be directly over your shoulder which puts the camera behind you. The Recoil rig adjusts for that balance point and relocates focus, monitoring and camera controls forward, creating a lighter, shorter and properly balanced rig.
The Sony FX6 Recoil shoulder-mounted rig includes our VCT Pro baseplate, Dual Rosette Trigger Grips to relocate the Sony FX6 handgrip, a 13.5" LANC extension cable, the FX6 Top Plate and the FX6 Handle Mount. This is the perfect rig to add a Kameleon EVF too!
VCT Pro – this baseplate has a sliding top plate for quickly removing the camera from the rig or fast lens changes, a built-in, curved shoulder pad, a v-wedge tripod connector (with ¼” 20 and 3/8" 16 screw option). It has removable and extendable 6.5” iris rods and rows of ¼” 20 screw holes along the sides for accessories. It has quick release 15mm rod parts in the rear. The recessed rod mount offers maximum accessory capable space under your camera lens.
Sony Trigger Grip –The Sony Dual Trigger Grips works with FX6, FS5 and FS5 Mark II. The Sony Dual Trigger Grips is a dual handgrip system that relocates the Sony camera grip to a comfortable hand grip position for shoulder rigs and gives you a sleek comfortable wooden handgrip on the left side. The Dual Trigger Grip system slides onto 15mm lightweight rods.
FX6 Top Plate - Designed to fit around the Sony top handle, this Top Plate features two removable 15mm rod locks, Z-Rail, and many ¼ 20 mounting holes on the top and sides
Sony FX6 Handle Mount - turns the proprietary Sony handle mount into a quick release 15mm rod port. It can rotate and angle up to 45 degrees. Perfect accessory for mounting your Axis Micro or Axis Mini
