Excellent Color Fidelity
This master monitor offers colorists blacks that stay black, delicate highlights, and rich colors, even in areas where details would previously be lost.
Wider Viewing Angles
The BVM-HX3110 can easily be seen by more of your team thanks to a wider viewing angle of 45°, without affecting the color or contrast ratio.
4K/HD Scopes with HDR/SDR Scales
- The built-in waveform monitor and vector scope can be displayed with scales for HDR or SDR.
- Automatic switching according to the selected EOTF setting.
- Waveform features include luma, RGB parade, YCBCR parade, and RGB overlay.
- Includes a color gamut scope that maps onto the CIE1931 chart with the standard color space display.
Reduced Reflections
Optical wave-canceling technology cancels out ambient light, reducing reflections so you can concentrate better on your images.
Integrated IP Support
- Direct IP signal input via RJ45 Ethernet enables the BVM-HX3110 to fit seamlessly into your IP workflow.
- Support is offered for ST2110-20/21/22/30/40, NMOS IS04/IS05, Clean Switch, Hitless Failover, and PTP.
- Easy-to-use IP interfacing and license additions via a web menu.
- Improved compatibility with Sony's Networked Live system.
User 3D LUTs
- Load customized user LUT (Lookup Table) files from a USB stick or another EOTF for comparison during pre-grading.
- 3D interpolation also enables LUTs for HDR-SDR conversion.
Quad View
The quad-view display mode enables instant comparison of up to four sets of custom display settings including EOTF, color space, transfer matrix, color temperature, contrast, brightness, and chroma. It also enables you to view LUTs side-by-side with your original footage.
Optional HDR-SDR Converter
Unlock simultaneous production of 4K/HD HDR video and HD SDR video with independent screen display and conversion output with an optional license for SDR shading while viewing an SDR or HDR signal, producing an image without saturated highlights or crushed lowlights. The three available licenses are:
- BVML-H10 with support for Sony’s HDR-SDR, 3D LUT and 4K-HD conversion.
- BVML-S10 with support for 3D LUT/4K-HD conversion.
- BVML-T10 with support for 3D LUT conversion only.
Optional High-Speed Pixel Response
Add the optional high-speed pixel response license to reduce motion blur for even crisper coverage of live sports and events.
