Featuring an Exmor RS™ image sensor and BIONZ XR™ processing engine, the BRC-AM7 delivers outstanding 4K 60p quality. The 1.0-type Exmor RS sensor with approximately 14.0 million effective pixels, paired with the latest BIONZ XR engine, ensures high resolution with low noise and lifelike texture rendering.
Versatile Optical Capabilities
A newly developed 24-480 mm* integrated lens provides a 20x optical zoom range, with Sony’s Clear Image Zoom extending up to 30x (720 mm) in 4K and 40x (940 mm) in Full HD, capturing subjects across a wide range of scenarios. The built-in electronic variable ND filter adjusts seamlessly from 1/4 to 1/128 ND, maintaining optimal exposure without affecting depth of field, even in varying lighting conditions.
Effortless Color Matching
Color matching with other Sony cameras is simplified through ITU709 and 709tone, as well as S-Cinetone and S-Log3 support, facilitating seamless multi-camera operations.
Precision AI Subject Tracking
AI analytics recognize human subjects with high precision, controlling pan, tilt, and zoom to follow athletes or performers accurately. The combined high-performance AF and PTZ Auto Framing ensure smooth, reliable tracking and focus on fast-moving subjects, reducing the need for a large camera crew.
Smooth, Quiet Operation
The direct drive system with newly developed motors allows detailed control over pan and tilt, offering speeds from a slow 0.004 degrees per second to a swift 180 degrees per second, suitable for various applications.
Integration and Control Flexibility
The BRC-AM7 supports ITU709, 709tone, S-Cinetone, and S-Log3 for color matching, and offers extensive control capabilities via the S700PTP protocol. Remote control is possible from Sony’s RCP series remote-control panels or MSU series master setup units, allowing integration with Sony’s BRC series and system cameras for advanced remote-control setups*.
*An MSU unit is required for multi-camera systems.
Installation Freedom
As the smallest and lightest camera in its class*, the BRC-AM7 can be installed in tight spaces where other PTZ cameras might not fit. It features standard screw sockets for tripod mounting and accessory attachment, ensuring flexible installation options.
