Add a protective cage, a shoulder mount, and a variety of accessories to your Sony FX6 camera with this Baseplate with Camera Cage and Articulating Handle from SHAPE. The kit includes a lightweight aluminum VCT baseplate, a camera cage, and an articulating push-button handle with a rubber handgrip.
The VCT baseplate incorporates two ARRI-compatible rosettes for attaching optional handgrips and accessories, features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera mounting screws, and is VCT-14 quick release compatible. The aluminum cage features a top plate that mounts around your original FX6 handle, a side plate with a rosette, and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads all over the cage for mounting.
Its sliding shoulder pad plate allows you to optimally position your camera on your shoulder or rig. The articulating handle features a comfortable rubber handgrip and mounts onto one of the rosettes on the baseplate or cage, and it can be adjusted with the press of a button. The front and rear 15mm LWS rod clamps enable you to mount the included 8 and 4" pairs of rods to support accessories in front and in the rear.
