This advanced cine kit comprises a BUD-compatible LeftField 3 15mm LWS baseplate core, a BUD-compatible bottom dovetail plate, a sliding top plate, an ARRI BP8 adapter dovetail, two side plates, a floating NATO side rail, a wide NATO cheese plate, a top handle, and two 12" 15mm titanium support rods. Easily transition between handheld and stabilized configurations while attaching various accessories to your BURANO.
Bright Tangerine LeftField 3 ARRI BUD Compatible 15mm LWS Baseplate Core
The LeftField 3 ARRI BUD Compatible 15mm LWS Baseplate Core from Bright Tangerine incorporates ARRI BUD compatibility into the Open•Up quick release system for efficient transitions between shoulder rigs, tripods, and other camera supports. The baseplate is designed to be paired with the BUD Compatible Bottom Dovetail Plate for Sony BURANO via a standard dovetail connection.
It has a total travel distance of 3" to achieve optimal balance. Front and rear 15mm LWS rod mounts for attaching lens motors and other rod-compatible accessories. Mounting threads on the baseplate allow you to incorporate additional accessories like the KASBAH shoulder pad. You can even combine the baseplate with different interchangeable riser blocks for compatibility with specific cameras.
Bright Tangerine BUD Compatible Bottom Dovetail Plate for Sony BURANO
Integrate a quick release system of your choice into your Sony BURANO rig configuration with the Bright Tangerine BUD Compatible Bottom Dovetail Plate. The plate features a wide BUD dovetail standard plate compatible with the ARRI BUD-1 and BUD-3 plates. Combine the plate with the LeftField 3 15mm LWS Baseplate with the dovetail for ARRI-compatible rigs or with the KASBAH Atman Shoulder Rig Kit for VCT-14 compatible rigs.
Gimbals, stabilizers, and other camera supports can be integrated with the plate using the BUD Universal Stabilizer Adapter Mount in either 6 or 12" lengths. The plate secures to the bottom of your camera via two 3/8"-16 captive mounting screws. Use the integrated release lever to quickly transition from handheld to stabilized shooting.

This Bright Tangerine Sliding Top Plate is designed to secure to your Sony BURANO cine camera and provide additional mounting points to the top of your rig. Add a quick release to your Sony VENICE or VENICE 2 with the ARRI BP8 Adapter Dovetail from Bright Tangerine. Designed for use with the LeftField 15mm LWS baseplate and ARRI BP-8 or BP-9 bridge plates, this lightweight aluminum dovetail plate features multiple reinforced 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads, and it is designed to set your VENICE at the correct 15mm or 19mm Studio optical height. The plate features safety stops on the ends, so it doesn't slide out of the mount.
Compatibility
This dovetail is designed to match the mounting screws on the ARRI BP-8 and BP-9 Studio bridge plates, setting the camera at the correct heights and offsets for 15mm Studio and 19mm Studio configurations. It is designed for use with the 15mm LWS Baseplate for Sony VENICE/VENICE 2 B4003.1030.
Quick Release
Using the LeftField baseplate, the camera can snap on/off the bridge plates for fast transitions between setups.
ARRI BP-8 and BP-9 Compatible
The dovetail mounting holes line up to the two screws and locating pins on the ARRI studio bridge plates. When using the BP-9 for 15mm Studio setups, the optical center is offset for correct placement.

Mounting Points

This pair of Bright Tangerine Drumstix 15mm Sterling Titanium Support Rods is extremely lightweight yet amazingly stiff, allowing you to add rod-mounted accessories to your rig with virtually no flex in the rods, something every owner, operator, assistant, and rental house will appreciate. Each 12" long support rod is extremely lightweight yet exhibits less flex than carbon fiber rods of the same length, and it is lighter than either steel or aluminum rods while being at least as stiff and strong. Made from titanium, the rods are corrosion resistant, and each is machined and ground flat to prevent binding as you mount accessories.
Each titanium rod is machined and ground flat to within a tolerance of 2 microns, which prevents accessories from binding when sliding on the rod. The strength, hardness, and machining tolerances of the rod eliminate the need for the time-honored tradition of spinning the support rod in the rod clamp when trying to build the camera package. Each rod is extremely lightweight, making it well suited for use with drones or in handheld configurations. The stiffness of each rod means you can confidently use it to support heavy lenses and matte boxes loaded with filters without worrying about the rod flexing.
